Review:

Pimp My Rice: Spice It Up, Dress It Up, Serve It Up - Nisha Katona

I like to eat rice, so I’m always looking for new ways to use it in recipes, and this book provides some useful tips and ideas.

It starts with an introduction on different sorts of rice (I admit I didn’t know all of them) and different ways to cook rice. This was certainly a useful section for me. The recipes looked great too, there is a lot of variation between different kinds of dishes, but I haven’t yet any of them so I can’t comment on their quality. However, they look good. As always, I would have loved to see more pictures.

I am certainly planning to make some of the recipes soon!

The author

After a day of work, Marjolein likes to wind down with a book or two, or five! Unapologetic reader of at the very least three books at any given time, she apparently is unable to settle on a favorite genre.

She might pause her audiobook just long enough to discuss books online.
