Review:

Dirk Gently: The Interconnectedness of All Kings - Chris Ryall, Tony Akins, Tony Akins, Ilias Kyriazis

I was previously unfamiliar with Douglas Adams’ Dirk Gently (although of course I’ve read The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy & The Restaurant at the End of the Universe), but I found the idea of all things being somehow connected intriguing, so I wanted to give it a try.

To say it nicely, I was seriously underwhelmed by this graphic novel. It didn’t do anything for me. The story was weird and random, sure, which to some extend I had expected. But it left me confused and it didn’t make too much sense. The art was not something that stood out for me either.

Maybe I didn’t get the book. It certainly wasn’t for me.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for providing me with a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!

The author

After a day of work, Marjolein likes to wind down with a book or two, or five! Unapologetic reader of at the very least three books at any given time, she apparently is unable to settle on a favorite genre.

She might pause her audiobook just long enough to discuss books online.
