Review:

Death Note, Vol. 2: Confluence - Tsugumi Ohba, Takeshi Obata

I had already seen the anime series before my sister persuaded me to also read the series. And I have to say I’m not disappointed. It’s good to see the anime follows the manga in so many ways. Now it’s just renewing the whole story, and I liked reading it.

I’m not really experienced reading manga (from right to left) but I didn’t find it a problem at all. It felt a bit strange during the first pages of the first manga, but now it almost feel natural.

I liked the second manga as well, and am planning on reading the rest of the books during summer vacation.

The author

After a day of work, Marjolein likes to wind down with a book or two, or five! Unapologetic reader of at the very least three books at any given time, she apparently is unable to settle on a favorite genre.

She might pause her audiobook just long enough to discuss books online.
