Rating: 5 out of 5.

We Should All Be Feminists is one of the most powerful essays I’ve ever read, both in style and in subject. In just about 50 pages it perfectly captures why there is still such a need but does so without pointing fingers and by offering solutions instead.

There’s everyday examples which very well prove the point and I think this essay is perfectly supplemented with Invisible Women (Caroline Criado-Perez) which tackles it from the scientific point of view with loads of data.

Highly recommended.

The author

After a day of work, Marjolein likes to wind down with a book or two, or five! Unapologetic reader of at the very least three books at any given time, she apparently is unable to settle on a favorite genre.

She might pause her audiobook just long enough to discuss books online.
