Some Greek poetry in the Little Black Classics collection, and it is relatively modern (as in the author has not been dead for the past two millennia).

These are sensual poems. There is a lot of love and maybe more so longing for love. This feeling was portrayed rather well, but the poems became sort of repetitive rather quickly and I am not sure I really enjoyed them.

It was nice to try, but not really something I long to read more of.

    With all of these poetry entries in this series, I don’t think I’ll ever try them. Poetry and I simply don’t get along, no matter how I try…

      In the end it was less poetry than expected when I looked at the numbers but I totally understand. Of course one could leave out reading the poetry, but for me that wouldn’t work. I either want to read the entire series or not…

After a day of work, Marjolein likes to wind down with a book or two, or five! Unapologetic reader of at the very least three books at any given time, she apparently is unable to settle on a favorite genre.
