If only I could finish a book – Halloween Bingo Update

It might be clear by now that my September and October reading is dominated by Halloween Bingo. We are about two weeks in and my reading is not really what I had hoped. I feel like I have a light reading slump. Still finishing some books, but it takes much more time than usual. I also don’t get much reading done, and as a result I don’t have any finished squares yet, but I am halfway for both the Psych and the Creepy Carnival square. Both books were not exactly what I had hoped so far, so I really hope they will improve a bit in the second half. Murder Most Foul has also been called, but I am waiting for October, since I have selected Agatha Christie for the square. Yesterday, Aliens got called – I completely forgot I had that square – so I will start Binti this evening. Between that there was a week where I didn’t have a single call. So at the moment I still need to have 20 calls for my card and I am nowhere near a Bingo – even if I were to finish all the books right now.
