Wicked Path

Review:

Wicked Path - Eliza Tilton

Wicked Path being the sequel to Dark Forest, I was prepared for the lots of first person POVs that shocked me earlier. Also, I was hoping that Jeslyn would finally stop being so terribly naive.

The story continues (mostly) with the same characters, and their goals are also mainly the same, although Avikar is no longer saving his sister (and in this book he seemed far less troubled with the death of his little brother).

There is more action and magic, and overall I liked the story better. Although, now I think of it, some of it doesn’t make that much sense. Jeslyn takes some more action of her own, but in the end is still utterly helpless and easily influenced. If you’re looking for a strong female lead, keep looking.

However, I find these nice snackbooks (easy, fast, no need to think to much books) so I just hope Jeslyn will learn from her mistakes in the next book.

Thanks to the publisher for providing me with a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!
