It was supposed to be the trip of a lifetime. Instead it became their biggest nightmare.

After being thrown from a night train in Romania in the middle of the night, Daniel and Laura decide to walk back to civilization, which turns out to be a very poor choice.

I enjoyed reading it, that’s for sure and hence the rating. However, when I start to think exactly why I liked it so much, I realize I don’t really know. Parts of the story are very unbelievable, and the major thing that happened in Romania wasn’t what I was expecting but not as shocking as I thought based on the reactions of Daniel and Laura. But sometimes a reading experience isn’t traceable to certain points that really stood out.

Either way, I would pick up another book by this author.
