Short review: Too short!

I think this could have worked as a full length novel, with a little bit more time to expand on certain parts of the stories. Now, the flow at some points was a little bit odd – but maybe it would all make total sense if I were 400 years old. And I admit that the novella format works with the fairy tale-ness of the story.

The story I liked a lot. It was cute and imaginative and I liked the characters – for as far as we got to know them -, especially Bramble. Looking forward to the sequel.

The author

After a day of work, Marjolein likes to wind down with a book or two, or five! Unapologetic reader of at the very least three books at any given time, she apparently is unable to settle on a favorite genre.

She might pause her audiobook just long enough to discuss books online.
