Today’s mini challenge featured Book Spine Poetry. During the quarantine I already once had a stab at it (there are not nearly enough verbs in book titles) and I came up with this little poem called: Baking with Kafka (a real recommendation by the way – my favorite cartoonist Tom Gauld writes about science and books; what is not to like).

Baking with Kafka
The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul
No Turning Back
The Disappearing Spoon

If you ever made some Book Spine Poetry, let me know in the comments. I hope to post some more soon.

I need to get my husband to try this; he’s the writer/poet in this partnership … I’ll report back if I can sucker him into it. 😀

    1. Haha, please let me know!

I am not much of a writer/poet either, but the lack of verbs in book titles makes everything sounds more like verse than prose 😉

The author

After a day of work, Marjolein likes to wind down with a book or two, or five! Unapologetic reader of at the very least three books at any given time, she apparently is unable to settle on a favorite genre.

She might pause her audiobook just long enough to discuss books online.
